I was semi scared when I first took finasteride, but you can't really "feel" it at all. The main side effects from the drug is supposedly sexual arousal loss. Just like every drug, it depends on the person for those side effects and how great they are.
To give you some good news, I don't think I'm really affected by the side affects and I've been on it for about 7-8 years.
