How do i make 3% minoxidil?

I have 10 bottles of kirkland 2% and 6 bottles of kirkland 5%.At what ratio could i mix them to make a 3% or even 3.5% solution?

Why do you want to go mixing things together in the first place? Why not just adjust how MUCH of each one that you apply?

Well because i get sides from 5 % and ive heard if i use 1.5 ml of 2% i will have increased sides because more minoxidil will get into my bloody because of a higher alcohol content.Do you agree with this?

Mix 1 bottle of 5% and 2 bottles of 2%. That'll give you three bottles of 3%.

Six 5% and Seven 2% will give you something like 3.4%.

I can't answer that for sure, because we don't have studies that examined the systemic absorption from both 2% and 5% topical minoxidil.

But the main point I'm making here is simply this: instead of switching to a topical minoxidil that has a lower concentration of minoxidil, simply use LESS of the same topical minoxidil solution that you were using before.

If i use less of 5% i wont enouth to cover my scalp as i am a diffuse thinner.I just mixed 7 bottles of 2% with 5 bottles of 5%,What does that come to again?

What are you talking about? By definition snake oil is something that is fraudulent and wouldn't work.

Topical minoxidil has been proven to work in concentrations of 2%, and seeing he has no minoxidil gains to protect, he shouldn't have any problems with it.

Mix 1 bottle of 5% and 2 bottles of 2%. That'll give you three bottles of 3%.

Six 5% and Seven 2% will give you something like 3.4%.

x is the number of 5% bottles
y is the number of 2% bottles

the equation is:

5x+2y=(x+y)3

rearrange the equation, and you get:
2x=y

in other words, 2 units of 2% and 1 unit of 5% gives you 3%.... 1 bottle of 5% + 2 bottles of 2% = 3 bottles of 3%

Going along with the idea of equations, here's how to figure out what % minoxidil you're getting:

(5x + 2y)/(x+y)

Where x is the number of 5% bottles and y is the number of 2% bottles. If you used five 5% bottles and seven 2% bottles, you would get:
(25 + 14)/(5+7) = 39/12 = 3.25% minoxidil
