CCS, what do you suggest I do? Do you know how the gas is made? I am interested to know as to me its a mystery!

take time to chew your food well, with smaller bites.

If you eat oats, let them soak in hot water first. Make sure any thing you swallow it very small. Use a blender if you don't have time.

Beans give gas. Too bad. I reduced my bean intake a lot and it really helped.

Eat live culture yogart regularly.

beano can help a bit but really does not do much.

eat every 3 hours. If you eat less than 2 hours after a previous meal, you will mix digested and undigested food in the stomach, and the stomach will either take longer (less energy for you) or just move it to the small intestine (gas from undigested food)

drink plenty of water. You need water to digest food. Whatever you don't digest will get eaten by gas producing bacteria.

hold it in an find a place to expell it away from people.

Thanks CCS for your help!

I have to admit that I sometimes eat breakfast and lunch only an hour apart and I usually have fry-ups for breakfast (eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, fried bread, toast and hot chocolate) then for lunch I'll have a whooper from Burger King. So maybe I should eat my breakfast just before I leave work rather than at work so that my breakfast and lunch is more spaced out!

I went out last Friday and I got really nervous whilst chatting to this girl but fortunately i never expelled any gas probably because I was drinking Jack Daniels instead of beer so maybe I should drink Jack Daniels when I got out on the town and beer whilst watching the football!
