After seeing that video I described myself to my girlfriend and found I make myself sound better then I am haha. Funny to see the difference between male and female thought process.

If you wanna see the "real" you, and not the one you've been looking at in the mirror (a mirror shows a reverse image of yourself) then try

http://www.doityourself.com/stry/create-a-mirror-that-doesnt-reverse-your-image#b

It takes a while to get used to your real reflection, as your asymmetries stand out ten fold. It's a fun experiment.

EDIT: Another one.

On the left, how we see George Clooney, on the right, how he looks in a mirror, but the crazy thing is, he see a much bigger difference than what we see. Fascinating stuff. Forgot to add, if he were to look at these two photos side by side, they'd look DRASTICALLY different to HIM.

I noticed this a while ago. When I reverse my photos, I look much better. It's probably because I'm looking at the image that I'm used to seeing in the mirror. Big difference. Good to know others don't see it the same way lol.

I was recently on a flight and went to the onboard restroom. Saw my reflection under the bright overhead lights. Saw the ugly blotches on my scalp from the medical condition. Looked so ugly. Wanted to jump out of the plane.

If I could choose any superpower I would choose the ability to make people see what I wanted them to see. If I didn't have to go out in the world and interact with people I would give alot less of a **** about being bald.

Living life the way you describe makes you sound like a small insect on a spider's web. You sound like your lunch. I too had my moments and almost eight months after accutane, I have crusty lips and side effects. It definitely effected my hair but, I repaired myself. I stopped caring. I am not worried about what people will think. I ask myself better questions like, "what do I want?"

I still have a beautiful head of hair that I will enjoy as long as I have it but, nothing lasts. What if we had survived cancer? Would hairloss matter? No, you would be ecstatic for surviving and waking up.

LOL if UcMan woke up from surviving cancer, the first thing he'd ask is: 'has my hair grown back?!'

Good to know that the guy with no hairloss found the inner strength to get over hairloss... wait does that even make sense? No it doesn't, good day sir!

I'm back... about nothing lasting, that makes my point all the more relevant. Since the time we have is limited the point becomes quality of life vs. quantity. Without the tools to make the most and have a fulfilling life at your disposal then who cares how long it lasts? I'm not even going to dignify the token cancer comment...

....and I have asked myself "what do I want". It's to look normal, so that people treat me normal and I can congeal with society again without feeling and being made to feel like an alien. That is what I ****ing want. Don't like it? Not deep enough for you?

I was looking at a photo of my sibling, and I discovered something disheartening. I had assumed the problem we look ugly was our hairloss, or eyebrow loss. But what I discovered was that the problem is with our lower jaw/lips area. We look like 9 year old kids. Not ugly, but like bald kids. Very non-masculine.

aye, a well defined chin/jaw, will almost negate balding.

He would still look a lot better with normal or weakish jaw but with NW1 hairline. Baldness sucks.

No way,
he would look better with that jaw + NW1, but no amount of hair is good enough to replace a jawline like that

Take yout average looking NW1, give him a strong jawline and make him NW5. Most people would prefer his before appearance. Jaw is one of those things people subconsciously notice while baldness just screams "no hair!!!" in our minds. Hair >>>>>>> jaw.

Agreed. I'd trade my masculine jaw for a full head of hair any day.

Id like a masculine jaw. I have to keep a beard to keep from looking too young, and my face is an oval shape, sort of like Russell Crowe. I sure as hell don't want to age like him either.

Nope. No hair is just no hair. But a strong jaw indicates power and masculinity, and women go for that.

Thats because you havent had to live with a crappy jaw.

Look at it this way: most of the men have hair. Very very few have a strong jaw.
