How Effective Are Minoxidil + Ru ??

I'm balding as FUK, do you think minoxidil+anti androgen could salvage those little hairs? Or at least keep what's there? Or is it over?

(Btw I shave my head every week, I grew it out a bit longer to take these pics and ask this question.)

Try for yourself and see. I use both myself with decent maintenance results.

No, it's not over. Just keep in mind that Minoxidil is a lifelong commitment that requires a lot of discipline. You start missing applications and getting lazy.. bye bye to your hair gains

Hello, I recommend you to use only RU first, (maybe 5-6 months) but it's your choice.

Like the other poster said, try RU first and see if that actually works for you. Like me (very mild slow hairloss) and a lot of others, it did nothing, not even slow the hair loss. Minoxidil worked wonders.

If you use both at the same time, how are you going to know which one is the most effective? That is why most doctors recommend to start with one treatment and then add another if you feel the initial treatment needs something to help it synergistically. Minoxidil is just a growth stimulator and won't actually block DHT like RU. So RU is the best first line of treatment excluding finasteride or dutasteride. However, if you don't mind using both and don't care what is more effective than just use both at the same time.
