How effective is spironolactone compared to finasteride?

just wondering if someone used it on their temples where they were receding. how effective would this be compared to finasteride? thanks.

good question, dr Proctor feels its about as effective as finasteride. Ive recently dropped finasteride, using spironolactone/foam/laser brush. Hassel to apply esp 2 x day

Why not take normal advice and get on finasteride? you're 95% likely to not have side effects.

spironolactone only works where you apply it. So if you don't apply it to the dense areas now, then it will be easier to apply it there later. finasteride works everywhere.
