I have started propecia 2 months ago. I had some good results with it but now i am experiencing some sleep problems. I wake up 2-4 times a night and having a hard times falling asleep. So, I decided to quit the drug for a few weeks and see whether these sides go away. How i should quit? just taper off?

I never had any problems with sleeping. Never. And this started just a few weeks ago. I never woke up in the middle of the night like i do these days. I would rather have a sexual side-effects. Also, look at this thread :

The proper way to quit drug like this is to slowly reduce the intake dosage over 2-4weeks give time to your body to adapt first reduce dosage then increase time between intakes.

Yes I had one of your problems: It was hard to fall asleep every now and then, I didn´t related to it however.
Tapper off friend and update. We want to know if you are better sooner than quitting cold turkey.

In order to encourage you I have to say that I have no problems with sleep now that I have quitted :)

I sleep like a baby, always did, nothing has changed so far in that respect. Biggest finasteride fears are Gynae and ED. Both would mean no more finasteride.
