How Likely Do You Think This Can Be Cte?

I'll try to sum up:

· I've been losing hair on my pubis, eyebrows, chest, armpits and of course my head for about 2.5 years.

· There is no miniaturization, i even went to the derma just to be sure and he confirmed it.

· I've been on finasteride for 6 months and it's done absolutely nothing as i expected.

· I have hypothiroidism but i've been taking the pill for a year and all my symptoms except hair loss are gone.

· Can androgenetic alopecia cause all this ridiculous body hair loss?

My cousin has that alopecia thing which causes you to loose all hair. He has no hair, no eyebrows, not a single hair on entire body. After a couple of years his hair came back then it went away again.

gotta be cte. hypothyroidism sucks dude. sometimes when you solve that, the hair doesn't come back, and that's the worst part of it :(

what about low iron and ferritin?

Yeah i checked those and came back fine. I do have low vitamin D though, but i think it's extremely unlikely it's causing all this damage.

fine meaning 70 or above?

vitamin d deficiency is indeed known to cause hairloss.

Yeah ferritin it's 219.

According to the lab Vitamin D range is between 30 -100 and i have 21. Not sure what i can do about that, isn't the sun the only way to get it?

damn that's great ferritin. vitamin d3 you can get from supplements.

how long has it been since you corrected your hypothyroidism? sometimes the hair lags way behind and needs years to catch up.

I'll look into supplements then but i still think it's impossible you can lose almost all your pubic hair from a lack of vitamin D.

It's been exactly 1 year since i started Eutirox, like i said all my other symptoms are gone so at least there is that... I hope you are right and it's just "lag", don't know what else can i possibly do.
