How Long Can One Safely Take a Break from Minoxidil?

Just wondering how long anyone has gone off Minoxidil without a problem.

Anyone noticed that Minoxidil's effect increased after the break? My friend said that his doctor said to him, 1 week break will increase it. İs it true?

Every time I miss a night (usually when I pass out), I notice the areas I apply minoxidil tingling the next day. I wouldn't risk it as much you can avoid it.

i went off once. it took about 5 months before i started to notice shedding. It was horrible shedding though and let me much worse than baseline.

Forget it! Once you jump on minoxidil, there is no way back. Unless you want to end up like Kojak. No other treatment can keep hair saved by minoidil.

P.S.: Your friend's doctor is obviously a dangerous idiot.

Some people manage to wean off very slowly. One example is Spencer Kobren. I'd be scared to do it though.
