How Long Can You Safely Take A Break From Propecia ?

Hey guys, sadly i am developping puffy nipples , first stage of gyno . So i need to take a break in order to solve this issue , and let the dht come back in order to destroy the small gland . i know that it might take two weeks for the dht to come back . So if i take a break of 20 days , will it worsen my hairloss a lot ?

my hair are everything to me but i don't want to have a gyno . so another option is that i take 0,5 mg per day ?

and to all those that don't belive that more propecia give more sides they are wrong . I took 5 mg for 5 month and i developped puffy nipples . With 1 mg propecia i was perfecttly fine nut my hairline kept receding

Ofcourse finasteride is dose dependant,take 1 mg for 6 months then cut it to half and see the difference,there is no safe break from finasteride but as i have had several breaks i can say that the 1 year time is when you go back to where you would be without finasteride at best though

Combine oral with topical finasteride, or Ru and go lower with your dose.

Go back to 1-1.25 mg, 5 mg is too much.

the strange thing is that i don't know why i developped them on 5 mg , because i took a blood test and my dht level was exactly the same 0,12 ; range 0,33-1,20 . And my oestrogen were 30 , range 20 -47.
I think this is the long term depletion of dht .
My dht is really low .

i am afraid that even on 1 mg they will not go away . Maybe i can try 2 week on 1 mg , then if they dont disapear stop the medication for 2 week .
I did this last year when my oestrogen spiked because of propecia .

and i actually thing that propecia is starting to work for me after 2 years , i am getting some sides effect , and less scalp itch, for me greater dose produced more effect

I took a break for a month once and got a minor shed so I started again. Didn't really shed for too long so I'd say a month (at least for me) maybe 3 weeks if you don't want to shed at all.

You can try an Aromatase inhibitor, many body builders use this while cycling. i wouldnt go on and off finasteride, ur just shocking ur endocrine system. Talk to a doctor
