How long does propecia take to work? Just maintaing, not reg

I'm just about to start propecia, next week or two hopefully, but my hairline is getting further and further back, seemingly by the day. I was just wondering when it starts to work. I mean just maintaining, just stopping hair falling out, I'm not bothered at the moment about regrowth.

Is it immediate or is it a few months, a year, what?

Is it immediate or is it a few months, a year, what?

Well from what I've seen, people who mainted on propecia did not recede much further from the first day on. The 3-6 months thing is usually when you see a reduction of shedding.
