how long have you taken finasteride for and what dosage and side eff

hi all
can we have some feedback for a small study we are doing regarding the effects of finasteride and duration.it isnt a major study and is only for small speech which will be given at a hairloss site we are starting up in september.ive had a few sides as you can probably guess,although its not clear if it was finasteride or not as someone nicely put to my question earlier.so here goes i need

ive seen an article somewhere but i cant remeber where the dam thing was.it sais that a study coming out reveals people who suffer sides from finasteride dont have as much dht in the blood to begin with.so men thaT DO have loads of it dosent make much difference losing a bit,where as men with little lose it all.it would be interesting to see if any of you out there have sides and have no chest hair for example.the logic being that a man with a hairy chest has more dht.with no sides.and a man with no chest hair gets sides.

Interesting. It took me literally a few hours to get testicular pain from finasteride. According to your theory I don't have too much DHT, but I am hairy. My case goes against your theory.

I took finasteride for one week only, I had testicular pain all the time I was on it. I know any sides are supposed to go away but I have more important things to do right now than to put up with testicular pain. The pain was bearable, but annoying, so I stopped.

I might give it another go in the near future, maybe in August or September.

I take it every day when I remember to take it. Sometimes morning, sometimes night.

Side effects: None really. Had increased acne and some testicular pain in the first two weeks. My semen may be a bit more watery than before I started treatment. I still can get it hard and like to crush pussy on a regular basis.

Results: I guess it has slowed my diffuse thinning, but I am still losing my hair, and in the last year, much more so than the previous four years. I would say I notice my hair thickened up the most after 18 and has progressively worsened since then. The net loss is that I have about 20-30% less hair than when I started treatment.

I also apply xandrox (minoxidil) 15% every night and a 5% solution in the morning.

I will be changing my treatments soon.

I'm taking 1.25mg proscar everyday with no side effects at all. I used to take 2.5 mg (proscar cut in half) and had brain fog I guess and didn't have desire to do anything, to be honest I felt like I did a lot of heavy drinking the night before.
