How Many Grafts And Is Demirsoy The Right Choice?

Hey guys,

nice to meet all of you. I hope all of you are doing great and have the best possible outcome for each problem.

So im 24 and from germany. Hairloss is not really a thing in my family, we just have receding hairlines. Well atleast I hope it is that way So I decided to make that hairtransplant happen and it will happen next year. I thought about many doctors and I came to a conclusion that Dr. Demirsoy will do a nice job and he is not too expensive, which is a good thing aswell obviously.

Now I want to ask you, what you think how many grafts I need and if Dr. Demirsoy is the right man for this job. If you need any further informations just ask me. My financial situation is not the best, hence why I choose him and I also never heard a bad thing about him.

I hope that I will need only one transplant, well looking at my family it seems enough I believe. No one has problems with their crown, only receding hairline/temple area.

Are you taking finasteride? You are going to need around 2000-2200 grafts to look decent with your hair caliber. But at 24 that is risky especially if you are not on finasteride for at least a year before the transplant. However, if it really bothers you, I would probably get at least 5 opinions from some of the top doctors in the world even if you don't go to them. Most consultations are free. Your hair is still not that bad where you can maintain with minoxidil and finasteride( topical or oral depending on your comfort level).

Im not taking finasteride, im really scared to be honest. Looking at my grandfather, I guess I will have his hair. Ofc Im not sure it will be that way

Definitely should be on finasteride if you are considering a hair transplant. You are going to lose more hair in the future and would you want to have a huge gap at the hair line when you age? It will look really bad. You may even regrow enough hair with finasteride and minoxidil that you won't even need a hair transplant at this time. You obviously need to do more reading before you even consider a hair transplant. Your hair looks decent enough to not do anything other than meds at this time. I have less hair loss than you at the front and I still have not pulled the trigger on a hair transplant and I have been researching for over 10 years.

I’m not sure how many grafts you would need as I can’t see any photos, however as for Demirsoy, he is excellent. I’m currently in a group chat with 7 others who have recently had hair transplants with Demirsoy and I’m also just over 3 months post op. The service was second to none and they would all say the same. Hoping for good results! So far I am seeing growth. Most his reviews online are also very positive, you will struggle to find negative reviews on Demirsoy
