How Many Hairs Do You Find On Your Comb?

For those of you that have been following me, you know my hair’s a bit longer. It makes it easier to spot the fallen brothers.

Recently, I’ve noticed a sh*t ton of hairs on my comb. I cleaned it off a few days ago and I already had about 30-50 on it today.

If this thread starts rolling I’ll post a pic in a few days since I already cleaned it off.

What about you guys?

30 to 50 hairs on your comb from a couple days worth of combing sounds good to me. I easily get that amount if I run my fingers trough my hair for a minute lol

But I don’t really comb my hair so wouldn’t know mate.

In a two day period I'll have around the same amount on a comb. I do count.

I don't seem to have many on my comb but my hair is quite long and since taking finasteride my hair became very dry, and uncontrollable so I have to now straighten it to get any sort of shape out of, and I probably lose between 30-50 hairs doing that. Do you have hair on your pillow mornings? I lurked on this forum a bit before registering and remember reading a few of your posts, @CrownBalding. Can you remember if you had this amount of hair on your comb before you started with finasteride?

I never comb my hair, but in shower I count up to 15 hairs, when I run my fingers through I can easily count 2-3 hairs almost every time. If I do it for a few minutes there can be up to 20-30 hairs, is that alarming?

30-50 for a couple days worth of combing.... I’d kill for that. Don’t people lose on average 100 hairs a day?

Nah I just checked it was more like 20 in one combing session

I think it's pretty insignificant because depending on how thick hair is you'll pull more out combing anyways.....50-100 a day is normal they say. So if you don't shower for two or three days that number can be high, also if you comb alot I'm sure you'll dislodge more hair even if it's not male pattern baldness related ....

200-300 depending on wet or dry. I basically try to not even touch it. Hair also long, overall density is terrible, hairline still NW1 but the thinning is creeping forward.
