using just the foam will not achieve anything,if you want to maintain what you have on your head as of this moment you need to use propecia, dont believe the overinflated reports of side effects on this board.

people that get them of course are going to post ten times more than those who dont get them.

Thank u libertine .. i have asked my doctor about those internals medicine like propecia, finasteride ...and others he told me that in the long run stomach, kidnies and liver will be affected by these medications . so the sidesaffects is not just sexual .

i prefer to make cosmetic hair replacement instead of using intenal medicatios but im not completly bald .

minoxidil , specially foam , has little effects ( may be no effects ) which make me intrested to use . i just want to increase density of my hair about 50% or more of what i have now

please tell me about ur experience with it and how much u got from it

I’m 40 y/o and minoxidil is working for me, but in conjunction with Propecia (now on Avodart).

Many people take Finasteride or Dutasteride for years without any side effects.

To protect your liver you could take Turmeric extract (Curcumin) or Milk Thistle.
You could take the drug with food to prevent stomach upset.

Here’s a success story without Finasteride:

And another one with the big 3:

can u please tell me how much regrowth did u have untill now . that guy ( english ) he got probably 15 years of hair lost back waaaaw unbelivable .

cassin

thank u too , u can ask any esoteric doctors and he will inform u .
dermatologists will concentrate on their fields other than side effects .
now u can have success with these internal medications but u might harm ur body systems . bear in mind that these internals are chemicals so definatley it will have effects in the long run

i hope that in future they can make finasteride or dutasteride as topicals .

please guys tell me more

Many doctors do not suggest finasteride or dutasteride mainly because they do not consider hair loss a real problem. Proscar is 5 times the dose of propecia and yet is safe. If you want your hair back you have to get on finasteride, unless you are like the best responder of the world in minoxidil. But the two combined can give you pleasantly unexpected results.

I'm 40+ I have just started finasteride and minoxidil. All the guys here recommend both in conjunction if you want to get serious to stop loss and try and regain some.

We don't have to ask doctor in the UK but when I saw him the other day for a check I mentioned Propecia and he said at 40+ its really not an issue anyway as its beneficial for prostate..he wasn't so keen on minoxidil but did not advise against it.

I was a Norwood 3V when I started on July 2005. I'm growing my temples and crown back, slowly, but still growing. My hairline is still the same.

I started with Propecia, and after 7-8 months when I saw some regrowth, added minoxidil and everything else.

And I haven’t had any side effects at all from Propecia, Avodart or minoxidil.

That success story from English is amazing. It has to be one in a million who have so much regrowth from minoxidil.
