How much finasteride?

Hey all, I just picked up my prescription for finasteride today and just took my first pill! My derma told me to take 1 1.25 milligram pill daily. I've ready on here that some people take 1.25 milligrams in the morning and another at night.

Is there any consensus on this? Is it better to take two a day? Or will one a day still get the job done? Let me know if you have any experience with it.

never heard of people taking it twice a day not sure where you heard that. There is certainly no reason to

I think I've read somewhere here or else where a guy would split his pill in half and take one half in the morning and the other at night. I think you might have read the same thing.
