Never because if it gets worse you can maintain with current treatments until something better is released onto the market.

Science will do its tang just give it time, I doubt you will ever go bald unless you start shedding and decide to do nothing about it.

I can't really see any clear signs of hair loss to be honest with you.

Just keep monitoring every few months and if it gets worse consider Minoxidil and Nizoral first.

Then I'd recommend looking at finasteride although personally I'd rather not mess with hormones.

If money isn't an issue do some research on RU58841, a topical "anti-androgen" that's basically doing the job of finaxteride, but only locally at the scalp. This means none of the usual linked side effects with finasteride but it is experimental so do your research before.

However, please don't worry currently, you have a full head of hair.

I agree with the first half of your post but the ru part is insane there is MUCH more clinical safety and efficacy data on finasteride then some underground drug from china. People have reported side effects similar to finasteride from it too. Also theyre have been reports of heart failure from ru. If thats not enough your product can end up being fake or tainted with lead or other harmful chemicals.

One report, and it wasn't even verified if it was due to RU, afaik, it was some guy that died of heart failure while taking it... almost certainly unrelated to RU itself.

I had chest pains when I tried ru and that was before I read about the heart side effects. But youre right who knows if he was predisposed or whatever. But I still would highly recommend putting finasteride before ru just based on the fact that ru is an underground research chemical.

I already went to a dermatologist last week and she said I have alopecia areata on one temple and gave me a cortical steroid shot, but she didn't say male pattern baldness, doesn't really explain the minor thinning at the front, also my other temple is untouched.

In my mind there is no mature hairline its just a made up term. You are either losing hair or you arent whether that means you have only a tiny bit of recession or a lot there is nothing wrong with wanting perfection. Maybe you want to stay or get back to Norwood 1 versus getting back to Norwood 3 there is nothing wrong with that. Especially when nothing can fix it except trying to prevent it from happening.
I dont see much hair loss for you now, but if it comes down to it finasteride before RU for sure. No one has a dam clue what RU does it was never even fully tested makes no sense to experiment on yourself and there is no proof its safer then finasteride. finasteride just has all the sides already known from decades of real world use
