Sorry to sound like a tart, but how often do people wash their hair?

I use Nizoral, which you can only use twice a week, so I tend to not to wash it every day.

Also, I won't lie, it seems intuitive the more you wash it, the more likely you are to dislodge shrunk follicles, so this also puts me off washing it too often.

twice a week with Nizoral (Wed and Sat), that crap fries my hair so bad -- as of right now that is all I'm doing (when it comes to washing my hair)

I wash mine 3 times a week, twice with Nizoral then the third time with a Biotin shampoo.

which one (brand)? can you give me an honest and fair assessment; does it do anything?

I have spent 20 years trying to find the right hair growth shampoo, hair treatment etc such as, finderstride, propecia. Regaine, laser hats and vitamins. I have tried everything and finally I have found something that is working for me. It is totally natural and is going to change the face of male and female hair loss. I never wanted to have a transplant and at 47 I was about to finally give up and shave it off however after trialling a new product for 6 months I am finally proud of the results. Furthermore it is all natural way to get the scalp healthy and alive again again. This I not just a shampoo it’s a complete process and all will become clear. I will be sharing my secret to the world at the end of the year. It’s a kit that includes everything you need to get hair growth and a healthy scalp. It’s early days but I have personally spent 6 months testing this process. And I want everyone one of you guys to also see the benefit. I have setup a Instagram account under the name of @edenhairgrowth and will keep you up-to date with my progress. Follow the account for latest news and product information. Seriously this is a game changer for anyone who wants to stop using chemicals in your hair.

No sales pitch I just want to offer a natural process. And it’s going to take the hair loss world by storm. And it won’t cost your the earth, I found regaine to be like a plaster once you stop the hair starts to fall out again. And at 47 it’s not healthy for the heart. This is not going to cost the earth and will save loads of young men from having transplants.

It's healthy for hair and can help thicken it up but it won't regrow anymore hair etc viviscal is a good brand.

I use this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Viviscal-Densifying-Shampoo/dp/B01GTN7X4W
Honestly can’t say if it really helps that much. I just don’t want to overuse nizoral too much. I use nizoral On Saturday and Tuesday then the viviscal shampoo on a Thursday.

Sounds like a snake oil seller would say this.

Ew. You should be washing your hair at least every other day, even if it's just with warm water - any dermatologist will tell you that. Oil and dirt build up isn't good for inflammation. As others have said, Nizoral should be used with caution, if used at all.

The way I look at it is this: any hair I lose whilst massaging shampoo and drying with a towel would have fallen out throughout the day anyway. What's the point of wanting to keep your hair if you're so precious about it you're scared to touch it and can't enjoy it.

I think you're a bit more physical with your hair than I am. I don't touch it and enjoy it

A lot of people don't respond well to nizoral. It can either dry out or cause massive shedding.

You don't touch your hair to style or wash it?

Whilst I think lifestyle and environmental factors play a small role in hairloss, I seriously doubt washing your hair once a day or every other day is going to be detrimental.

I went the "no-poo" method ( no shampoo, lol ) for about 2 months or so.

My hair loss went downhill very fast & inflammation and itch were insane.

I do believe your scalp needs to be clean as much as possible. But it's not that simple to just wash it off every day with shampoo, because it will backfire. The more you wash->the faster it gets oily. It's different for each person.

Twice a day, morning and evening. Three mornings a week with Nizoral, otherwise cheap Suave of what ever flavor the wife buys. I scrub my scalp vigorously with a Denman Be Bop except the day or so after rolling. I don’t see any hair shedding, obviously due to the scrubbing. Going to take 90 day pics pretty soon.

Every other day, but I only use nizoral twice a week.
Yes, it scares me to wash my hair, I count the hairs on my hands. My hair looks do thin when wet. I'm also afraid of getting haircuts.
