Hey guys, for those of you that wear more than a day or two at a time, how often do you wash your system while wearing, how often do you get it went? I've been getting mine wet every other day to help rinse some residue off and washing every couple days.

I shower every morning, and I also go to the gym every second day, and shower afterwards obviously. I don't use shampoo on the system - just allow the warm water to run through the mesh. I only wash it once a week with shampoo. I try not to get the system wet in the 12 hours after I apply it.

I was my UTS once a week. I find that the daily leave-in conditioner builds up too much by then.

I wash my bio hair more often, anytime really. I try not to get my UTS wet unless I am washing the system because I find that the bond weakens and it isn't worth getting wet anyway unless I am going to shampoo it.

It's not a good idea to shampoo the system too often because it will dry out quicker and will therefore need replacing sooner.

I think i'd go nuts if I only got mine wet once a week. I feel like getting it wet at least rinses out some of the residue and to me just seems cleaner. lol

If you feel like that, you would probably be more comfortable with lace. The mesh is very breathable, and you can feel the wind and rain on your scalp. You can stand under the shower and let the warm water run through the mesh and over your scalp to clean away any sweat etc. Having an impermeable film over your scalp for a week at a time doesn't suit everyone, especially if you are physically active.

I actually took the plunge and removed it and cleaned and reattached myself. It was actually a lot easier than I imagined it would be
