How to deal with diffuse thinning?

My current Regime is 1x @ night Rogaine, 2x S5 cream and every 3rd day I used Regenepure shampoo.

Its basically all thinning and going from the crown area and top of my head but I can see the thinning moving down towards the front of my head...

Weird thing is that my sides/temple still haven't receded very much. Its just the thinning on top thats killing me.

Any advice?

If you're not on Finasteride, I'd start taking it if I were you. Minoxidil (Rogaine) helps with maintenance and is a good for regrowth. I'd drop the S5 cream if I were you since the anecdotal evidence that it helps with hair loss is too vague. Regenepure DR specifically is great for lowering inflammation, is great at helping to keep the scalp in a healthy state, and also helps provide a nice clean environment for topical treatments to be applied onto.

Your situation is very similar to mine. I am on finasteride + min + a ketaconozole shampoo. Thinning on top is also killing me. Gives me sleepless nights sometimes. I'd strongly suggest finasteride asap. Pics?

I would add Propecia to the mix, you are also supposed to use Rogaine 2 twice a day (morn and night) everyday

I'd be thankful if my hair was only thinning, but no it has receded as well, I know it still isn't great when you have thinning hair on top but i'd prefer it over a receding hairline, once your hairline goes that's it you look less attractive and see a different person in the mirror.

I have some diffuse thinning. What I find really works is switching back and forth shampoos. For some reason it makes the hair look a lot fuller and more dense. I use Bioctin and a caffeine shampoo and anything with zinc. Also using cocoa butter and rubbing it into the scalp before rising. Using a blow dryer (not too close to hair shaft) will make hair appear fuller.

not at all.. im recessed into a nw3 pattern and it doesnt bother me, the only thing that bothers me is im a diffuse thinner too. anything over nw4 u could still look good, but i agree, you'll never look like a nw1 but nw2-nw3 for people in their 20's isnt that bad man:)

Ye no u wouldn't. Diffuse is absolutely rubbish.

Hair always looks sickly and nasty unless buzzed. With male pattern baldness u still have options, density and the ability to plan for transplants. Diffused is very unpredictable, seeing as its widespread.

Yes. The big picture for diffusers is generally not as rosy. Thin hair looks ill.

I have diffuse thinning too (mild) so I know whats is like, but it's not to the point where it is noticeable and it is only at the front part of scalp and not all over.

It's also receding to and i have to say I feel more comfortable without a shaved head now because of the recession. But that is just me.
