He just has no thinning at all. If you're NW3 you're probably never going to have hair quite like that.

Best bet is use rogaine + propecia

You can't just regrow all your hair to a youthful hairline unless you get a hair transplant.

People will tell you the big three (nizoral, propecia, minoxidil)

I don't like propecia, so i would recommend the scalp exercise. Google "tom hagerty" and read up on all his stuff. Its my belief that if done correctly and for long enough it will at least halt hair loss. It's free though so you don't have much to loose. You can also use nizoral and minoxidil if you wish, they don't have the major sides like propecia

how long have you been doing the scalp exercises and the skull expansion exercises? I have tried both, but never stuck with either long enough?

they won't do you any good. You'll continue to lose hair while wasting time with those exercises.

Yes, do finasteride and minoxidil mate. The one bit of advice your friend told you that I do use is washing my hair in cold water. It doesn't stimulate growth or anything but it greatly reduces the itching from my experience.

You cannot get hair like your freinds, the sooner you understand that the better.

Actually you can but only if you buy a wig.

I'm immensely jealous of your friend's hairline. That's sort of how mine looked until I turned 20. I've managed to keep the corners from receding any more but it's trying to move upwards, the whole thing. I've managed to stop it for now with finasteride/minoxidil and trying to get regrowth, but I doubt it will ever look that thick in the front again.

Skull expansion exercises about.. 9 ish months.

Scalp exercise, since late august, so about 5 months.

I haven't had the time to do the skull expansion exercises to the recommended capacity since im a college student, but i don't doubt they have helped. It the months following my hair looked better in every picture that was taken of me (e.g. it didn't look like i was loosing hair)

The SE i do multiple times per day since it doesn't use the hands, which is great. I've noticed random dark hairs popping up in the temples, which is what happened to Tom Hagerty before he recovered his hair.

The people who say it doesn't do any good, thats fine. But im not loosing my hair now.. so in the end we'll see who keeps it.

What type of hair loss do you have? Is it a diffuse thinning or are you receding in the front?

It's pretty much just a receding hairline. No diffuse hair loss.

I might have started thinning in the back but that illusion might be generated by the fact that my hair is buzzed and the scalp shows in a certain direction/light

Most people NW3 or less could probably get that hair doing the following:

Propecia 1mg taken at the same time every day forever
Minoxidil twice daily forever
Topical anti-androgen such as RU or spironolactone once a day forever
Nizoral every 2nd day followed by a good conditioner forever

After 1-2 years get a hair transplant from the best possible surgeon

Multivitamin
Fish oil
5mg biotin
Probiotics
all taken daily, consistently, forever

A perfect diet of no simple/white carbs, sugars, red meat, dairy. No smoking or alcohol.
AEROBIC exercise 30mins a day, 5-7 days a week.

Eliminate all forms of stress (through meditation, exercise, yoga, therapy, whatever). or go live on a remote island or something for 2 years.

I'd say almost anyone (obviously not slick NW7's) could get almost perfect hair by doing the above, not to mentioned perfect skin, nails, body, mental and general health.
