Hi, i was just wondering what are the best ways to insure that certian supplements will be absorbed properly .. the key ones for me being: Fish Oils, Zinc & MSM .. any ideas are appreciated.
i remember reading that taking medication with grapefruit juice can increase its absorption/potency. im not sure if that applies to vitamins as well. worth a try i guess.
-Take it with a good source of saturated fat (butter, cream, coconut oil, etc). Do not take it with any high-polyunsaturated oils.
-Buy fish oil in its emulsified form, if possible.
Zinc:
-Take it away from any grains, legumes, tubers, or nuts, all of which contains anti-nutrients that will block it. Zinc is best taken with dairy or meat.
