How To Simulate A Shaved Full Head Of Hair With Concealer ?

Hi everybody,

I'm currently wearing a hair system since about 1.5 years but I'm tired of it and I just want to shave my head until I go for a hair transplant or maybe a cure is released.

My problem is that even though I still have some hair on my scalp my hair line receded quiet a bit during my time as a system wearer and my crown look pretty thin too.

Nobody ever knew about my system or my hair loss because I started wearing the system when I was about NW2 and I'm afraid that if I stop wearing the system (which is very dense) and shave my head people will notice the difference in thickness between the top of my scalp and the sides and back.

I was wondering if it is possible to simulate a perfect full shaved head with a concealer? I've heard about Dermmatch or Ecobell topical shader but can someone share his experience with me please?

Thank you !

nope. it will look like lint and run off your head at any sign of wetness. It needs hair to actually hold it in place.
Theres is SMP. If you are def going for a transplant in the future the SMP will be covered anyway and probably give the illusion of more density

May I ask why you're considering quitting wearing a system if you've done it for 1.5 years already?

Also you should post pics of what your hair looks like now. I know you quit finasteride for 6 months so things may have gone downhill but last time you posted pictures of your hair it was still very thick and if you shaved your head it wouldn't have been very noticeable that you were losing hair.

I want to quit the system because I'm afraid it has a bad impact on my natural hair. It's itchy, my scalp gets irritated by the glue and the system itself and even though I think most of my hair loss since 1.5 years is caused by my break from finasteride and minoxidil during 8 months, I'm really not sure that wearing the system is not making me bald faster. I'm also not very comfortable in situations like when it gets intimate with women, when I'm doing sports or going to the beach. I know it won't come off, but still, I'm afraid it gets noticeable.

This hair system made me the most attractive guy in college. I'm not joking, it was ridiculous. But I'm tired of lying, especially to myself. I think that it's time for me to man up a little bit and face baldness.

I will shave my head, tell people I did it because I'm loosing hair and learn to deal with mockeries.

Balding at such a young age slowed down my personality's development because of insecurity but I think facing it will do the opposite by building a strong character that doesnt give a sh*t about what others think and force me to become a charismatic, interesting man and stop counting only on how I look to attract around me.

The shaved head look suits me pretty well, I've tried it before and had good returns. I just want the transition to be smooth and I dont think how my hair looks now can be discrete enough even if I shave it. Some spots will be darker than others which is not noticeable at all with the hair system and I'm not comfortable telling people I've been wearing a "wig" this whole time. I prefer being the guy that faced the problem since the begining and dont want people to know I've ever been insecure about it.

I will still start minoxidil again after quitting the system and considering transplants because dont get me wrong, I really really want my full head of hair back. I made a mistake when I started wearing the system. I was so satisfied by the result that I gave up finasteride and my natural hair thinking I would be able to wear it until the cure that brings nw7 back to nw1 will be released. I can't post a photo of my hair because of the system obviously but believe me my hair looks a lot worse than the last photo I posted here in early 2016. You should never stop finasteride.

In my opinion, no non-surgical solution can make me feel as good as when I had all my hair. There is nothing like hair growing on your scalp, and if I can't have that right now I prefer learning to deal with it and try to save what I have left for a transplant or the cure hopefully coming in the next 3 or 4 years.

SMP is an option I'm considering but a little bit expensive for me right now and until I get this done I need another temporary solution.

=> this guy does it very good and puts water on his head at the end without problems

No amount of concealer can cover the scalp, the concealer needs hair to 'rest' on so its only useful for those with mild hair loss.

A giy in the German forum did the same in the past. He says it worked awesome when he was doing it and anyone ever noticed it.

Get on loniten, oral spironolactone and dutasteride. You will regrow a hell of alot of hair at the cost of side effects. But who cares if we can have real, growing hair :D I sure dont care!

I want hair but I don't want to become a woman... I already take dutasteride and minoxidil but oral spironolactone is creepy isnt it?

Nah, i was on 150mg a day, it done wonders for my skin and cleared up alot of sebum. I quit because i couldnt have sex with my girlfriend due to erectile dysfunction. If i were single i would of definitely kept on going.

You're on topical minoxidil as a hair wearer? How does that even work? Lol.
Add in oral minoxidil i think if you responded to topical you will have amazing results with it.

I'm from France, I dont wear a hair system anymore, I got SMP and shave my head. I used to buy my system on boutiquedelaperruque.com but it works only in Europe I guess.
