How to use Nizoral Shampoo Effectively

I just started using the 1% nizoral shampoo and I usually first wash my hair with the nizoral, leave it in for 5 mins (3 times a week) then rinse it out and shampoo my hair with my normal shampoo. is this effective or am i rinsing out the nizoral by using my other shampoo right after?

Yes, it's perfectly effective. You washing your hair with Nizoral and then using your other shampoo right after will not change any effectiveness from your previous rinse.

You're doing it backward. You want to first wash your hair with the non-nizoral shampoo to clean out all the oil from your hair and scalp, THEN apply the nizoral shampoo. The most effective way is to do both washes with nizoral back to back, but that can rack up the cost.
