Sorry, the comment you made was somewhat ambiguous. So you are saying that you have a pattern of loss similar to female hairloss?
yea , my hairline is completely intact and the hairloss is like a line of diffusing in the middle of my head slowly expanding to the sides , resembling the female pattern pics

Honestly I'd take FPB over male pattern baldness any day. Female may soften your appearance. But as long as you can keep just enough density to still appear healthy you will still look young and have lots of hair style options. There are people with thick hair that go to the salon and attack it with thinning shears because less volume looks good on them. I used to be one of them. I'm assuming you've done your bloods and all that ?

yea well if i could stop its progression anytime soon i would be fine , im on low thyroid medication for slight hypothyroidism and it appears i was a bit vit d defficient , but since i lose a lot of miniaturized hair there is surely some androgenetic issue
finasteride helped a lot but i eventually got sides , so now im just on min and thinking of my next step !

I'm in a similar spot with the finasteride and using minoxidil and planning my next move. What are you considering ? I have some RU coming in the mail but after hearing about how weak it is I'm considering Daro or trying to learn of something similar.

i am gonna experiment a bit with topical finasteride concentrations but i dont have much faith in it being any different than oral , ru is probably going to be next but idk after reading peoples experiences it seems like it doesnt even maintain for long
As an addition i really would like to try pgd2 inhibitors since they at least are pretty safe , but seti is still too expensive for me (i might look into cetirizine still thinking about it )
daro looks promising indeed but since there are already people trying it i d rather wait to see how they re gonna do , in terms of sides and effectiveness , and also waiting for its price to go down too
Also waiting for p3074 and rch01 results !

I'm using ceti by way of daily zyrtec pill in my morning minoxidil dose eod. I haven't noticed a reduction in shedding but it does greatly help with the feelings of inflammation, itch, hair pull sensation etc. Just generally feels good but maybe I'm not using it often enough to see actual results.

Well some men do have this pattern although it’s not nearly as common.

You don’t want any kind of pattern mate because they all look like sh*t. I’d know, I have them all.

Out of curiosity have you met anyone in a similar situation at a similar stage as you ? Also is it possible for males to have male pattern baldness with thinning on the sides and nape but not have retrograde ? (asking for a friend )

If you have loss of nape and sides it sounds like retrograde.
I’ve only met one other woman with this but she is almost 40

View attachment 86794 View attachment 86531 View attachment 86532 firslty yes we all know i’m a chick and I’m here posting in the male section but let’s face it, the female section gets no traffic, and besides this is a question for everyone.

I notice that my loss and recession overall is much worse on my left side. Eyelashes, eyebrows, hairline, nape - that whole entire side is just thinner and more advanced. Here’s and example of my nape recession on the left vs the right side. You can see that the left is quite a lot more receded.

My question is - who else finds that one side is way worse than the other? Do we know if there’s a reason for this?

UPDATE: I managed to find a really old photo of what my nape used to look like before hairloss as another reference for how far my nape (and whole hairline) has been screwed over
Do you happen to have any Greek heritage,Georgie?

I watched this girl the other day and i thought the resemblance is striking!..Haha!

The left part of my forehead is quite a bit more receded than the right. I sometimes buzz part of the right side just so my "hairline" is somewhat symmetrical, but it doesn't help too much.
