It is what it is. I dont want to be slick bald but if I can keep something like this even id be okay. He is also a diffuse thinner like me and he was able to keep that super short hair for a long time. The hairline was still there to frame his face so even though he was basically bald it looked okay. The most important thing is something being there to frame your face.

You can test your dna. Use 23 and Me or Ancestry.com and upload the data to Promethease to see if you have aggressive male pattern baldness genes. I think you are jumping the gun though. You haven't been on treatments that long.

I am going to continue being on treatments even after shaving. A shaved head will help me dermaroll more areas and apply rogaine easier. Im sticking with finasteride for atleast until 2019. By January or so ill decide if im completely giving up but yeah im shaving my head this week most likely. And bruh i dont need a 23 and me test, my dad, his dad and all of his brothers and all of his sisters sons reached NW6-7 while being under 25.

Thanks! That makes me feel a bit better about it. I still have some weight to lose too. Shaved head while being fluffy isnt a good look. I came down from 5'6.5 185lbs in march to 164lbs right now and plan on going to 155ish. Just dont want to look like an egg when I shave.

Slice of bread still has decent density, you can tell from his buzzcut. Im not convinced he will go full bald soon even if he gets off the meds but who knows.
