Okay so I did this because it really doesn't make much sense and it's somewhat unfair but what can you do, right? First I'll tell my lifestyle than his and Im 20 and he is 21 btw:
.
Me: a healthy lifestyle since I was born, never smoked, I dont drink, workout daily since I was 12 and its not with weights but mostly bodyweight and cardio, my diet can't be any better and the side of the family that is bald is just my father's side, my moms fullheads all the way
My friend: smokes like crazy, drinks regularly, eats whatever he wants, he said he masturbates and has sex with his gf all the time he said to me and baldies are on the both of his parents side
.
He has maintained his thick hair all the way to now, no signs of balding whatsoever and has skin like a baby(never had a zit)
And I am a diffuse thinner who lost half of the thickness and my crown is bad and I also had really thick hair
.
Pics: i am showing my crown because its mostly damaged but i am diffusing all the way, my hair when its wet looks like hair on a baby when its born
And the second pic is my friend, I couldnt get any other pic but that thickness is all over his head

And yea I forgot the most important part of this thread, he thinks that he wont be bald and generally doesnt think about his hair because he thinks hairloss skips a generation and I started researching all about hairloss 4 years ago when I still had really thick hair because I just thought to myself "if my dad is bald will I be?" And I gone crazy when i saw there is nothing to beat hairloss and from that point I started thinning and still cant stop thinking about my hair and how it doesnt look good, so basically Im saying I am concerned and he is not about hairloss so conclusion is it's like if you think about it you will get it and if you are not you wont and I just want your guys thoughts on this!

Lifestyle choices I feel like have minimal impact on hair loss, if you have the balding gene the lifestyle choices could accelerate it (smoking drinking etc) but if you don’t have the gene then you probably won’t loose your hair wether you smoke drink or do anything else . Unfortunately that is how it is. My mums brother was an alcoholic and smoked two packs of cigarettes a day , died at 55 of liver failure with a full head of hair, her other brother on the other hand , never smoked or drank but lost his hair during his mid 30’s. Just the way it goes unfortunately.

Yeah hairloss like skin quality is all genetic. If you have good quality skin genetics smoking or drinking or diet isn't going to make a noticeable difference to it.

Since this seems like a thread where only speculation and broscience will apply, I’ll try my hand.

There’s a thing called epigenetics where a persons lifestyle choices literally alters their dna and through these choices, they activate genes that may exist in their dna but previously had not been active. How this could apply is perhaps your friends’ parents sides who had balding either made lifestyle decisions themselves (atleast in respect to balding such as poor diet, smoking, malnutrition through essential vitamin deficiencies, etc) or their parents had and it activated for them.

Now your friend is making poor lifestyle choices which could affect his dna (and his hair), and while these may or may not take place in his lifetime, his children can certainly get the brunt of some of these decisions in one way or another through their own dna with whatever genes get activated and passed down.

Agai, this is all broscience, but epigenetics are real and could have an effect on future genes. So maybe if you make sure you take your essential vitamins (omega 3s, b-complex, vitamin c, whatever) and make good lifestyle decisions such as exercise, not smoking, alcohol in moderation, blah blah blah, even if you aren’t able to get your hair back, you could atleast give your children the best chance of being healthy and maybe having a better chance at having a good hair gene. Food for thought.

Yea but genetically he should be on the worse spot but I am, weird weird world
his hormonal system is just perfectly balanced, which gives him such thick hair. The hormone testosterone and the hormone estradiol are two hormones that are present in the male body. also hand over and we will compare results of your analyzes and your friend. It is very interesting to me!

This site keeps attracting more and more retarded members...

You’re comparing yourself to a different person? Don’t be a f*****g idiot.

He’s 21, why shouldn’t he have thick hair. Most do.

WTF did I just read.

do not listen to anyone, take tests for hormones, testosterone, estradil, fsg, lg, prolactin. From these tests, we will understand why your head is thinning. Ask him to do tests! In fact, the hormonal level of everyone has a different, different condition of hair!

May be he didn't inherited bald genes or that genes are not showing up up to this day ,may be later. Smoking does have its additive effect in baldness but not too much. He would have more thick and shiny hair if he had not been doing things you mentioned.
