I currently use Nizoral 1% for my shampoo... If i add t/gel to it... and use both.. say nizoral one day, skip a day and use t/gel, skip a day use nizoral and so on... would that be effective or beneficial? or am I just wasting my time?

Nizoral and T/Gel targets male pattern baldness from different angles. The key component in nizoral helps eliminate inflammation, while Salicyclic acid has been known to unblock pores and help topicals penetrate thru the scalp much better.
Use both in conjunction to each other :)

In the USA

T/Sal (not T/Gel as above) = Salicyclic acid
T/Gel = Coal Tar
Nizoral = Ketoconazole

In the UK

T/Gel with Salicyclic acid = Salicyclic acid
T/Gel Original= Coal Tar
Nizoral = Ketoconazole

the use of all three can of benifit to scalp health and in turn male pattern baldness.

occasionlly a normal shampoo, but mainly those, I might use a non-medicated shampoo two or three times a month.

I get on OK with Nizoral-T/Gel-conditioner, they don't dry my hair too bad, they are of benifit, so I see no reason to not use them almost daily.

....sh*t what's that burning smell?.....
