UPDATE
Hello everyone, I got the blood tests that I did to understand the situation as I'm taking oral finasteride and am experiencing non-negligible erection problems: morning/early morning erections disappeared, erection difficult to get and maintain with direct stimulation, watery eiucalyptus. I remember that I did about 1½ months at 1mg ED, then switched to 1mg EOD, finally seeing that the erections did not improve to 0.5 EOD, for a total of about 4 months of treatment. Despite the low dose the ED did not improve, in fact perhaps worsened.

This time I had more comprehensive hormone examinations. The endocrinologist told me to stop the finasteride as it was definitely causing the problems and to repeat the examinations one month after stopping. The hair situation seemed to be improving with oral finasteride but the ED problems are quite serious and I would not want to risk them remaining if I continue the therapy for another few months.
At this point the options are:
1. Discontinue all therapy and accept chronic hair loss (not ideal, I would go into depression)
2. Continue with oral fina and accept a penis that no longer works
3. Opt for topical fina again (in 6 months it didn't seem to do much at 0.3% but didn't give me any sides)
What do you recommend?
