I was more concerned about the truth to this when it was mentioned to me and I was and still am very concerned about what I put on my scalp. after doing this it was the best thing I ever did. I guess what it is I'm trying to say is that I totaly stopped all sheding and reduced it from 100 150 a day to 5-10 something caused this to happen and the only diff that I'm doing is the oil beer mixture

I dont think oil would do all that, im more able to believe it could help condition the scalp then stop hairloss or even slow it...

dude i read your post on the hairlosshelp.com site. i don't see why people are giving you so much sh*t over this, i think it's great that you wanna share this with others if you thought it helped you.

to those criticizing the guy, why do you feel the need to do so?? he's not trying to sell you anything, he's offering info. if it doesn't work well then what did you lose? nothing. someone said that if you truly thought you had a cure then you would be trying to sell it, hahaha. come on, you all know if this guy was selling something you all would be all over him, he isn't trying to sell anything, just trying to offer a helping hand. if it's bull then so what, we didn't lose anything.

edgar cayce (if you don't know who he is-google him) reportedly said the cure was using vaseline, (petroleum jelly) olive oil or this really crude black oil thats hard to get and then using woodgrain alchohol to help cleanse the scalp. Very interesting indeed.

I've been using propecia now for 15 months and i am very impressed.
i'm 44 and just a year ago...my topside was practically gone. Now my top has filled in quite amazingly and is still getting thicker.

the beer and olive oil treatment is fascinating since it correlates with cayce's cure.

truth is stranger than fiction ºÇº

Question- Could you elaborate on your mixture...brands quantities etc?

THX

The barley in beer does improve your hair. There are many shampoos out there called the beer shampoo and my girlfriend uses it sometimes and she says it makes a difference in her hair texture. Now that i heard of this amazing new treatment im replacing my showerhead with a draft beer tap.

Stout, ale, lager? Might want to consider the following:

Guinness 2/7, Bass 5/7. I hear this is a good regime. Through in some Beast just to f*** with it all once in a while.

Jamhow.......and anyone else that may be inter. the mixture I currently combine is sam adams lager and extra extra virgin olive oil I start by Placing an equal part of beer into a food processor and then slowly combining the olive oil as the machine is runing I guess the same could be accomplished by using a blender. The most important thing is to start the machine off with the beer and then combine the olive oil this allows the 2 to comine

Thx again for your mixture. I havent tried it as yet as i have been very busy and lazy at the same time....lol

so what do you do?

you take this mixture and pour it over your head and probably massage your scalp with it etc. then you probably rinse it out with water?

then do you shampoo/condition to help breakdown the oil? edgar cayce did say that the massaging and rinseing out of the oil was an important step.

do you do this everyday? what is your regime like?
i only take propecia, try to eat well and shower every 2-3 days w/ a dandruff shampoo and i must say over 15 mo's or so again i'm impressed
with propecia's effectiveness.

as far as the side efx go ...yea i do experience a nominal amount but imo (lol) you can't have these older cats running round chasing skirts....but then again for me i'm happily married and still have a happy sex life cuz i can get more head (badaboomp) hahaha

One More oil

'Regular use of castor oil as hair oil helps the luxuriant growth of the hair.'

http://www.healthlibrary.com/reading/ncure/chap47.htm

After reading the post abt Olive oil I remembered abt Castor Oil, when I was abt 17, I remember using castor oil for abt a month, man my hair started growing really fast, thick and dark, Infact I stopped using it to avoid going for hair cut. but then I didnt have any hairloss. I dont know if it would help now. I keep thinking abt it though.

I was wondering if anybody on this site would reference Cayce. I worked at the Edgar Cayce Foundation, for anybody that doesn't know about him - he was a major psychic who had cures for everything from paralysis to hairloss.
Anyway, when I was working there I came across the research for hairloss and tried the cure. It involved rubbing crude oil on your scalp once or twice a week for 45 minutes and then washing it out with grain alcohol (watered down). Also, he recommended certain exercises, chiropractic adjustments, a strict diet with. . .weekly enemas. Yes, he did also suggest vaseline which I also used.
I underwent this sh*t for well over six months and voila, I am still on this website getting ready to undergo proven treatments.
