I did see a talk by Arkani-Hamed recently and it was glorious. He doesn't give two fucks about style. His slides were simple texts of his handwriting on white paper. He went way, way, way over his time. He wore a loose black t-shirt and loose black pants. Though, of course ... not giving two fucks about style is itself a style, and might even be intended

It was also a brilliant, informative, and convincing talk.
