My hair loss has continued to accelerate, despite me being on finnasteride/rogaine/nizoral shampoo. I've had horrible growth from the surgery - my hairline looks better and my crown looks a little better but overall yield from 4000 grafts and 11000 hairs transplanted has been absolutely horrible. I think less than 30% of the hair has actually grown in and I've lost more hair since then

I wish I would have just shaved my head and grown a beard last year. I am actually a good looking ethnic man with masculine facial features so that look would have suited me fine

Would have saved me 14-15 grand - could have probably done 3 or 4 spectacular vacations. You guys here who are considering a hair transplant, please think twice about it. 3000 grafts does very little to give you real density. Hair transplants are only a good option for NW2-3 men with good density who are very slowly losing hair. If you're losing hair in the middle or crown, forget it. You got no shot long term

That’s why there is a hair system somewhere with my name on it until I can mentally cope with hairloss.

how old are you? if you're over 40, hairloss is no big deal

IMO hair loss is only really a thing if you start very young. I would say women only care up to about 30 or so

If your over 40 hairloss is no big deal? I say bullshit to that

My dad is bald and is still very handsome

I suppose its different for light skinned men with fine facial features. I have very masculine facial features in our family

I recommend to shave it cause you have ideal look for shaved head - good jawline, strong chin, thick eyebrows, super thick facial hair and good muscle mass.

the reason I got the surgery is because I thought it would give me real density and it doesn't

the shaved head/beard thing makes me look 37-38 instead of 30 (I'm 30)

Tell me about it....I was 44 when I got my first of four....I think I was a 5 on the Norwood scale.....I think its impossible to know if each one of the graphs grow in.....I mean how could a Dr. tell if thousands have sprouted..

Of course if you have hair and just want more understand that your natural hairs will eventually fall out...

I think guys should consider just shaving there head and saving the money.....Its not the 80' S or 90's anymore.......Facial hair is in now and many guys look good with bald heads and facial hair..

It is sad that such a thing would happen to a good looking ethnic man

It is sad that hair loss causes a lot of men and women both young and old to take drastic measures. This issue really changes people in so many different ways and simply ruins the life of good people in general.

Yup, I can see avodart cb and maybe even spironolactone in my future.

Probably would never do a hair transplant though

You only have to go on those hair restoration forums. Don’t even have to look far - 1st page. Lots of below par transplants; even for people with good hair characteristics.

Ya and then you’re just boned... hair looks like crap and you can’t shave since you have a scar

You must have started about 15 threads about your hair transplant and in each one you have to mention your beard and masculine jawline lmao

At least you didnt mention your salary this time

It’s his method of coping. He rushed into a transplant and expected to be smashing “rap video type girls” by now instead of complaining to baldcels about his suboptimal transplant.
