I really believe that people with depression and low self esteem have more trouble with hair loss... But I also suspect that if they (I) didnt focus on hair loss it would be something else.
People who are vain will focus on their hair and hair loss, but if it wasn't for hair loss they (I) would still waste a lot of time looking in the mirror and thinking about themselves (myself).
The solution? 1) be selfish and enjoy your life, its the only one you get 2) remember that nobody cares about you or your hair 1/10th as much as you do, but they WILL hate you if you are mopey, whiney and insecure, not because of your hair but because you are mopey, whiney and insecure 3) get treatment for depression 4) get a hobby, play sports, work 5) take down the mirrors you are always looking at 6) watch movies with samuel L jackson and (recent) Bruce Willis... there is a future in hair loss. 7) remember that when you die hair loss is not an excuse for having a miserable life, worse things will happen to you, and you do not get to live your life over again because you "sat out" this life because of thinning hair.
(sound of stepping off soap box) Actually I was kind of talking to myself, there, but it might be relavent to the thread.
