HI all,

I am beginning to recede and have thinning hair, specifically on the side of my head and the corner of my hairline.

I am going to purchase rogaine, s5 cream and regenepur.

What would be the best routine for me to use these products as effectively as possible?

Would once a day for each s5 and rogaine be effective? Can one be applied directly prior to the other?

Currently I have been using Nizoral about 2x a week and recently have used Apple Cider Vinegar with water to rinse my hair 1-2/week.

Also, where could a Canadian get Finasteride?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, if this post should be elsewhere, please let me know.

if you are in the very beginning stages you don't really need all that stuff I would just take finasteride alone to make things easier, rather than 4 different things that is just a hassle and extra money for no substantial additional benefits

thanks, if it is of any benefit I can post a few pictures later.

Anybody know how I can get finasteride in Canada?

I take some pills that I have researched to help prevent hair loss: pumpkin seed oil, black currant oil, saw palmetto. Anybody find these to have any benefit, or am I wasting my money?

You need a prescription for Finasteride in Canada. If you don't have a family doctor, you can simply go to a walk-in clinic, explain your situation and ask for a Finasteride prescription. That's what I did anyways. The doctor ordered blood tests and screened them before writing me the prescription during my follow-up visit. He even gave me a prescription for 5mg pills since it's cheaper to buy them and cut them up than simply buying 1mg pills. It cost me ~$25 for 25 generic pills at Superstore's pharmacy which when quartered gives you a 100 day supply.

finasteride first then assess the situation after. To much medication, and you wont be able to properly assess what's working, and what isn't (side effects)

Ultimately finasteride is the main weapon, and everything else is secondary within the arsenal.

Anybody find an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse with half water, half ACV 2x a week to help the quality of their existing hair?

I would have guessed it would be better to start with the minoxidil, S5, and Regenepur prior to the finasteride, why is finasteride the best place to start?

Appreciate the replies and advice in this thread.
