Hi guys,

I have been on Propecia for two months now, taking it every Monday and Friday (as my DHT levels are naturally low) and I have not yet seen improvements + I still lose around 200-300 hairs a day. Any idea how long I need to wait to see changes/improvement? Thank you!

Ideally you want to be using it everyday. Add in oral minoxidil, it works much better than propecia in my opinion.

Buy a pill cutter, and at least take .5mg everyday. I've heard of ppl getting solid takes n minimum sides or if the deal. N minoxidil 5% 2x a day.

Stop it.

2 months is way too soon to make an evaluation

I didn't have any noticeable improvement in my situation until about 7 months

Back when I posted that I would have disagreed. Given my current situation ignoring my recommendation would be wise indeed.

Theoretically you should be fine using it every 2 days, however it will take much longer for DHT to be reduced and therefore two months is way to early to see any changes.

Also I heard that taking it every day keeps your hormone levels more stable and its an easier routine (just pop the pill every morning or before going to bed). Whether you use 0.25/0.5 of 1mg every day won't matter much.

Because he is giving stupid and self-destructive ones.
That's not true, my intentions were good. Oral minoxidil is obviously more risky but it's important people not finding success with conventional treatments are aware there are other non FDA approved treatments which can benefit them. If used responsibly side effects can be minimal, or in some cases none at all.
