I don't think i have a normal case of MBP, or at least i don't think that's the whole problem.

i wish i could take finasteride, the only problem is it makes me shed within 4-6 weeks and it doesn't stop, i couldn't gamble taking finasteride for like, 2 years, or even a year, because I can garuntee i will end up bald, have gyno for the rest of my life, and put on weight permenantly. every time ive tried finasteride, even for a short while, or topically, it just does damage and speeds things up, even after i stop taking it... i think i get Hyperandrogenism when i take it, and it never quite goes away...

I can say for one that the gyno is not worth it alone. I don't have to worry about it because I had gyno surgery 4 years ago so the glands are gone. I've always been a skinny, decent looking guy but no matter how much I worked out I had gyno (before I started thinning). It looked like I had built pecs with a shirt on but that layer of fat would never leave and it was an awful thing to deal with psychologically, so finally I agreed to take care of it cosmetically.

If it causes gyno for you, I would say that you will hate that worse than losing your hair. There are other things that can work for you and follicular cloning is close to being on the market from what I hear. Just hang in there.

Hey Karl,

It sounds as if you are having a nightmare in life mate. I am too, 20, balding rapidly and now i have devastating side effects from propecia even after quitting the drug 16 months ago. I am also in the UK, studying in London and pretty much hate every f*****g minute of it. If you really want to give it a go with doctors you will have to go in there and suggest things yourself. Be careful not to pay a load of money to some c*** if you go private either.

Do NOT go anywhere near finasteride. Aside from propeciahelp, i actually speak to 4 young guys that have had severe side effects for over a year after quitting. Were all very normal blokes, in fact the ones i speak to are pretty successful but have been fucked over by that drug.
