I made a plan for treatment. Is anyone interested in seeing the results? [w/pics]

4~ years finasteride 6~ minoxidil. I started minoxidil thinking it would do the trick because I didnt know any better. Worked great for about a year then I started getting huge loss. Came tothis site learned of finasteride and started it immediately. Refused then and now to read any stories about side effects, and never got a single side (aside from maybe slight ball ache for a week).

Maintained exactly what I had when starting finasteride, no true regrowth. Got some baby hairs past my loss pattern after a bit though they never got longer. I started the treatment banned on this site and got some more slightly longer baby hairs all the way down which wont get longer than arm hair.

So did your loss come in the form of lots of shedding and/or noticeable reession/thinning? And judging from your timeline, you went from nw2 to nw3 in a year, even while using minoxidil?

I noticed it all at once. I had assumed at the time minoxidil was going to stop it. And yes I went from NW2 to NW3(non vertex) in a year or so while still on minoxidil 2/day.

Wow. That's awful. I joined this forum to try to feel more sure of my choice, but I'm so much more unsure now XD :I

So would you reccommend only finasteride and no minoxidil? Or both?
