I was in my college campus and there was one guy talking to my friend so I got to know him, we talk and I tried to guess his age and asked him if he is from 1996. His looks made him look even 35 because he is fat, short and balding heavily with long hair (NW5 easily). He just said 'iI was born in 2002' and his eyes have watered and his face became red. He was ready to sob. Fuuuuuuck I did not want to make him feel so miserable, because I know his pain

You tell him, kid should have known better and covered it up. Sometimes people aren't really aware of how bad things have gotten for them and they need to be told. Tell me this, if you had a whole bald patch at the back of your head would you want to know?

I had a coworker who had pretty bad diffuse in his crown, like very obviously bad. One day I exclaimed how he ought to use a wig (but I meant to call him a sissy I wasn't referring to his hair), all of a sudden he exclaims about it, asking me if he's losing hair. I was like "uh, yeah dude the sun exposes all of your scalp", and he was all sad and surprised. But it opened up the discussion to hair loss which I'm sure we're all embarrassed to talk about

He was very aware of the fact that he is balding, he wad not only balding at the crown but also whole top part of head. He literally has a horseshoe pattern which he is unable to cover up in any way, especially with long greasy hair. And yeah I remember my shock when I discovered I am thinning all over the top which resulted in growing out long shitty (I mean very shitty) hair because of depression
