Hi fellows.
I have been fighting against my bald melon for at least 15 years. My hair loss started at 22.
I'm 37 yo now. Underwent a hair plant surgery (FUE). was planted 4000 follicles in 2014. After hair plants, my hairs were very bushy and cheer. I was happy.
Unfortunately, my hair lose process keeps working and never be alone with me. Although planted hairs still waved in my head, my natural hairs, my precious, are leaving me.
My current regimen: Minoxil 60 ml (5% minoxidil, once a day) and revigen shampoo.
I don't know what should I do furthermore? Don't want to use finasteride because of some side effects.

Unfortunately your only practical choice would be a DHT inhibitor. Did you try Finasteride in the past, or are you just hesitant to try it? If the former, you might want to try RU-58841 though depending on where you live, it might be difficult to acquire.

what can you do except finasteride? do you think anyone is really dumb and use finasteride because they're "lazy" to treat their hair?

if you lost most native hair on crown, then all 4000 grafts were used in front?

I used finasteride for 2 years. and I have seen some side affects and gave up immediately. Plus, I shouldnt talk about the side affects of it. Because many of people on here are hapy with finasteride. I dont want to break their enthusiasm, their hopes.

RU-58841, expensive and hard to find it.

I heard about some natural DHT inhibitors like green tea and black grape seeds. I've started to use them time to time.

u do nothing wrong if telling what side effects u had, people who taking finasteride, put their health at risk anyway.Your only option is to go for another procedure and fill the crown with remaining grafts,if there are any left.Or you can shave your head,u still have front hair to frame your face, thats not too bad for 37 years old.I was heavy drinker of green tea,but it did nothing to stop shedding, this natural stuff is bullshit.

thanks for your opinion.
Imagine that a drug has been daily used for years, what would happened the liver?
Its known that even the most innocent drugs have some side effects on the liver if it is used for long times. Many of us not aware of the oncoming danger. The main side effect of finasteride can be seen after 35-40 yo. People will have more felt the effects of it on their hormonal balance and fertility as getting older.
Another problem is that if you want to save your hair, you have to keep using that drug. I think this is some kind of drugs addiction.
And of course, I'm considering hair plant surgery again. I went to another Doctor and he said it can be done. But not now. Maybe in summer.

i will be not worry much about liver, but others things on hormonal levels.Liver are destroyed by cocktail mix of many drugs, and alcohol abuse.Yes fertility is indeed big concern, but people who want to save hair, put this at risk,i heard even from some guys that they have zero libido and impotence, but keep taking medication!..There are many people with hair transplants that dont use finasteride and they doing just fine, they probably need more procedures later in life. Also family history can help,to see bigger picture. You are not in that bad position for your age,im worst than you(nw5,age26),but i understand you, hairloss sucks at any age.
