I Really Need Help,finasteride Side Effects

It's in your head guys. 5 Years ago I took Finasterid for 2 days. In this time I read a lot at propeciahelp. At day 2 I hade complete impotence. I stopped the drug and I had no libido and couldn't get any erection for 2 or 3 more weeks.

Now 5 years later I started to realize, that it was maybe all in my head. So I took the drug again. I'm 3 months in now, no sides...

I havent read propeciahelp before i had onsent of terrible testie pain when i made this thread.I was told by my friends,my dermatologist,by random people in this forum,youtube,everywhere about their positive expiriences and that sides are extremely low chance and will stop after quitting the drug.I had no anxiety before that,i knew that i was recovering after the drug,i hade increased libido,good ejaculations,morning woods,got hard just by speaking to my partner dirty,and,yes,had minor pain.Everything is normal is what i thought before 23rd of jan when i had VERY big nut pain after wich i became like i am now.During that pain i freaked out,yes,and started searching finasteride-testicular pain.Mind you,i never saw anything about crash or anything like that.

So youre saying that my mind made my testicles ache terribly for some reason after wich i became COMPLETELY impotent,my mind made my balls shrink,my mind is making low amounts of ejaculate come out with pee?And for some reason my expirience is almost word to word with "post finasteride endocrine system crash"?I dont know man,i sure as f*** hope you right because before i never had ANY problems with sex life,i ejaculated 4-7 times a day.

Your testicle pain is real. I had the same after quitting finasterid and i had the same 10 weeks ago, 2 weeks after starting. Testicular pain is a very common side effect and disappears if you continue or stop the drug, it will disappear both ways.
But your ED and low libido is in your head and you experienced it after reading about the sides. Trust me, they will disappear for sure. Stop worrying and stop reading in any forums.

I told you i ddint read about sides.I had a great erection the day i became like this.I was only concerned about my testie pain and first came to this forum.Even on propeciahelp i didnt read anything about impotence.It happened overnight.

Also,a small update.I no longer lose hair.I used to lose 20-50 hair daily even while on Propecia,now i could only pull off 1 hair.Seems like i dont have any dht/cant respond to T?

Well testicular pain was a think for 3 weeks after the dose and the second week I was at times completely impotent, I mean I ejaculated flaccid where as the first week I was fine. The difference? Extreme stress. Your symptoms are stress related probably. Ball ache will fully go away after some time. I also got it after ejaculation. You were able to masturbate 4 times a day. No way you are impotent. You are fine.

That's more likely a side effect of stress (at least it was from me 0 libido 0 erection). You seem really stressed. Abstain from masturbation and p**rn for a while just to stop thinking about it. And if that doesn't work get a blood test if you are stress free and sides persist. Plus there are always pills that can help you if you don't recover fast enough and you need to have sex. Stay strong and don't visit this forum. But you know. We are here for you.

Hi guys. I've been on finasteride for a month (1mg a day).

When people say "testicle shrinkage" do they mean your balls tighten up like when it's cold - coz that's what I've got.

I've also got some impotence problems I think too, but I'll probably tough it out for another few months.

Hey guys I posted a thread about my side effects but no one replied,so I am going to try to get an answer here.My libido was even higher than usually but my whole body felt like I had a fever.My face was hot,I had a headache and chest pain,runny nose and dry throat.It was weird because those are not common side effects.Today i took a day off and symptoms were gone.I dont want to go to propeciahelp because they are blaming propecia for everything.I just want to know if anyone has had the same side effects?

This happened to me the first time I took it. Difference is I am far healthier the second time I started and hit the gym regularly with weights, also on 0.25mg instead of 1mg.

Without being too graphic I've always been a pretty sexual person lol...and for the first month of finasteride I was without sides (apart from an occasional ball ache) but today I couldn't get it up and haven't thought about sex/masturbation once

Thats probably the effect of the extra testosterone you got from finasteride, i had the same issue when i went on long streaks without sex before finasteride

Overall looks healthier and density improvements in the crown and midscalp. No sides. Improvements stopped around 6 months I think. Now just maintenance.

I was the same. Never thought of sex, dick felt numb, and I just forced myself to watch p*rn in order to get an errection. No morning wood, no spontaneous, no forced nothing. I just forgot about it. Anyway if they persist go see a doctor its the wisest thing.
