Ketoconazole definitely has antiandrogenic properties, I believe it binds to receptors as well as lowering T, it has caused sexual sides in some people.

However, for those having problems on nizoral, I would recommend Regenepure, or maybe just a really good, natural antidandruff/inflammation/fungal shampoo, coupled with an antiandrogenic topical such as spironolactone. Dr Lee's keto shampoo is also supposed to be easier on the scalp than nizoral.

I have been using nizoral shampoo on and off for years without any problem till a few months ago. Now I have changed to Regenepure & Revita shampoo, because the nizoral is a bit too harsh for my scalp, and I shed more hair on the day when I use, I used it 2-3x per week before. Now when I use Regenepure & Revita shampoo, I can use them every without any problem. :)

been using nizoral shampoo for 3 years and really the only thing its done for my hair line or hair loss in general is just made my hair thicker in appearance....

Never seen a improvement in hair line, if anything caffeine based shampoo like alpecin has given the same effect but just alot cheaper :)
