Just an update because I'm trying to lay down some positivity. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by writing this... 8O

I'm loosing less hair. A lot less hair. I used to loose upards or 30 hairs in the shower alone, I now loose 0-10. Took a shower this morning and lost no hair at all. I used to have 5 hairs fall out every time I ran my hands through my head, now 1 if any. There have been no hairs on the pillow for the last couple of days.

Here's the flip side. Minor irritation continues. Here's the wierd part, it's mostly right up front on my hairline and 2 inches back. Anyone have any idea why that could be? No other place on my scalp is iritated except for there.

In other news, I was really sad to see that PPG is one of the main ingredients in Folligen spray. Ouch. I'm going to use it every so often (1 or 2 times a week) but sparingly.

Finally I'm dating an awesome girl who told me she "LIKED" my hair (weirdo). She's great and getting laid really takes the stress off of me. Have hope fellas... we're going to beat this for as long as we can.

Great news, Bomb, with the hair and the girl. Sounds like you'll be getting some of that hair back, which is good, but to have a girl who likes it, even better.

Could the irritation be the region where you're really losing hair, or are you sure it was thinning behind that before the ppg? Receeders can get lines like that.

Yeah i'm sure the whole head is diffuse thinning but the front hairline and 2 inches back is where the irritation is worst. Funny, the vertex where the thinning is the worst, and is where i have the lease problems with irritation. I can load everything on back there and it's all good. I've found out that it's in the best condition when I dont apply *any* treatments to it. So I have been giving it a day off sometimes, and it really helps the situation. This week went/will be something like this

Mon: minoxidil AM - Folligen PM
Tues: minoxidil AM - Folligen PM in the front, minoxidil on Vertex
Weds: Xandrox AM - Folligen PM in the front, minoxidil on Vertex
Thurs: minoxidil AM, minoxidil PM
Friday: Xandrox AM, minoxidil PM
Sat: minoxidil AM, Folligen/minoxidil PM

No spironolactone yet. I'm going to try adding Folligen applications like 5 times a week because improving scalp condition right now is my #1 concern. I have Finasteride, Saw P, and Xandrox (possibly) blocking DHT for the time being.

I've only applied PG-Free Xandrox 2 times, but each time it has not irritated me any more than PG-Free minoxidil (which is practically none at all). I really cant stress how much Glycerin instead of PG in the minoxidil has mad a world of difference.
