I think they already have a cure for hair loss but they won't release it because of all the money they will lose. I think the same thing with anxiety, they will only give is medication to manage it so that we have to keep buying it over and over for the rest of our lives instead of just buying that one permanent cure.

Minoxidil fuel can't melt Androgenetic Alopecia beams.

Joking aside, I'm quite concerned about the fact that they might be trying to delay the development of effective treatments, though...

Anxiety shouldnt be fought with meds, nor does it need meds to cure. Only you can cure your own anxiety. Ativan, Xanax all those are just blankets to your problem and will never help you achieve long lasting results. Take it from a man who was super outgoing, had a stunt with ritalin in my early teenage years for a couple months and became the most anxious person around. Took a couple months but after i dropped the ritalin i did everything i could to overcome my anxiety, along with the help of some friends who noticed the change in me. I beat the anxiety completely, but really had to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Ritalin has nothing to do in regards to anxiety though. Ritalin is for people with hyper active disorders, or people who have impulsive rash decision making problems.

Yah anxiety can be treated over time with real professional help, such as a psychologist and working towards the goal of actively reducing what causes the individuals anxiety. But medication for life is never the long time goal as long as you have a decent doctor/psychologist who works on actually solving it. Medication for anxiety is a crutch to help you start combating it.

You call it delaying. I call it making sure the stuff doesn't kill people just for hair

Im gonna have to agree with the OP.
A sure shot one time cure would cause a lot problems. It could be out there already. And it could be getting re-developed to be a continuous use thing like the minoxidil and finasteride.

A sure-shot one time cure will roll in billions of dollars and the country with the procedure will have a huge increase in tourism as a result. Currently, the guy who appears to have this cure is working for a government-funded company.

But let me guess, Merck has some grand conspiracy at play to put a stop to this because they just make soooo much money from Propecia? Please, only 5-10% of balding men even use finasteride and minoxidil and they're the only things that currently work.

The alarming truth is that everyone is going to genetically modify their children in the future. It's a sick perverted hitler-esque dystopian future we are heading for and we are all f*****g fucked.

Quite the opposite.

Do you also think George Bush did 9/11?
Bush didn't do it, but certain people in our intelligence agencies knew about it, and were more than happy to let it happen. They never would've gotten the Patriot Act and their massive data mining facility without it.

There are a lot of moral and ethical debates to be had as access to genetic engineering picks up. There will be parts of the world that will move full speed ahead with changing humanity, and others that will resist and be left far behind, unable to compete.

We can mess around with human DNA so much that we might reach immortality in 2050, We can tear holes in time with CERN, we can attach electronics to our body that doesnt require electricity but only human blood etc... Scientists can do this kinds of things but they cant devolop a god damn cure for hair loss I'm sorry but I call that BS. There is a ton of money being turned by this major companies that we probably wont see our "cure" for baldness. We will just have to wait and deal with it :/

Tsuji is the only one who would seem to have a cure for hairloss.

There are very few scientists researching hairloss - it's not a priority in the medical field as disappointing as that may be to us.

Seriously, can we stop this tinfoil hat bullshit?
