I thought a hair system would make me more attractive

Have you tried different hairstyles? I had mine in a big bulky hairstyle to start and I was almost considering going back to bald. I went to a stylist who cut it down to a shorter style, reducing the density and causing it to blend better and now I think that it looks unbelievably good, and I don't want to take it off. We have been bald for so long that we have no idea what hairstyle would suit our face shape. I just wanted as much hair as possible but now I see that a shorter style is better for me.

Are you happier now that you started using one? are you content with your decision? Thinking about it myself.

Absolutely. It was a pretty spur of the moment decision for me, just something I thought I'd try after I came to terms with the realization that FUE would be more challenging than I expected and wouldn't get me the hair I really wanted anyway. My bio hair had gotten to the point where it depressed me just to look in the mirror and I avoided doing so.

Not one person has noted the new hair or given me funny/confused looks (even on my first piece which had hair much coarser than my bio) and that includes women who get very close to me on a weekly basis. I've "confessed" the new piece twice to different women (out of my own self consciousness) and both of their reactions were sincere disbelief. Like, "Really??" One even pulled it and still didn't believe it. Also tbh I used to get really bummed when I knew others could see, despite my best efforts with a brush back, the big ole bald spot on top of my head...it's been somewhat of a relief to not have that feeling anymore

I was more concerned about what I thought regarding having a hair piece than what others thought. It's a totally reversible decision so I stressed basically not at all about it. I just got my second piece at the salon this week, the new hair texture is a match for my bio hair, and I'm about to place an order for a custom system. Admittedly if I had known about this site before I got the piece I would have given it much more consideration and thought and stress, instead of basically just winging it after reading some random article about the advancements in mens hair systems.

The downsides from my POV are regular salon visits or learning to do maintenance and / or cut-ins on my own. Having to style it for a minute and maybe detangle it when I wake up in the morning. Also I think my typically highly scruffy facial hair appearance looks out of place with the new good hair so I now feel the need to shave my face more often.
