FWIW, I thought much of my initial shed was nizoral too. It seemed to be worst on the days when I used it. I would read in bed and hair was falling onto the pages of my book like mad. Depressing. At some point, the shedding stopped. Maybe two months in. Last night I read about 120 pages and tried to get a hair to fall on the page. Ran hand through hair, shook head, etc. Never happened! Amazing how something so trivial can boost ones spirits.

well i noticed something interesting,after using nizoral, the next day when i combed my hair, the comb was full of dry skin.

i never had dry skin before, is it to be expected?

That happens for me every once in a while.My scalp gets really dry when I use Nizoral and I even get itching.Therefore I use something like Aloe Vera Gel to calm my scalp.

ok so its been 60 days since i started,

no side effects to report,

BUT i havent seen any slowdown in my regular hair loss, which means its falling out the same amount as before i started,

anyone have advice?

At 3 months I seemed to be losing more slowly (or not at all, I hope). I haven't had much noticeable loss since then.

I am now at 5 months and unsure if I will see any real regrowth. A lot of people using finasteride only see regrowth at the 6 months to 1 year mark, so I'm definitely in this for the long haul.

so heres a little update,

im on finpecia 1mg for 110 days,with nizoral 2%

still no side effects,

the hairloss has definitely slowed down,

i notice way less hairs on my brush,

i cant say its completely stopped though,

also no regrowth yet,

im seriously considering starting minoxidil although i dont want to,

also what is revita and is it worth trying?

FEB 8 Update!!
im on finasteride for around 170 days, added rogaine foam 2 weeks ago once a day,

so far still no regrowth, although Definitely slowed down the hairloss
