I took the plunge and shaved my head , hardcore style

Alright I have been slacking in my treatments for the last year and moved from a Norwood .5 or maybe nw1 max, to a nw2. I shaved my head and it actually doesnt look to bad. It would look even better if I had more of a tan. I am joining the air force academy for the next 4 years so its not really a big deal. Its mandatory to have a shaved head. I definitely look better with a thick head of dirty blonde hair but I just have to make due. I will grow my hair out again but I just wanted to see how it would be. Have any of you guys shaven your head?

I did, about 2 weeks ago : )... The shocked looks came only from people who had seen me a few days before with hair. People who did not know me generally accepted it as normal and even liked it. I agree, a tan is important. Oh, and being in the military is a plus, as everyone is shaved there...

Had a crew cut recently cos I was feeling pretty confident about my hair, but I was a bit shocked with the results. I'm really white, and have a strangely shaped head, I think I need long(er) hair to balance out my features. Despite the many happy reviews people give of their extreme haircuts, it's not the way to go for everyone!

me neither... shaved my head 3 weeks ago.... and I look like a f*****g retard... my head is kind of looong, with a platoon on top of it...! <-- dont know if this makes any sence.. Was the best translation i could think of..! Well anyway it looks awful! I look like an alien with cancer.!! And so sad, cause I like the muscular look, with no hair and a good tan...!!!!

So i have only one way to go!! the treatments HAVE to work...

Point beeing, shaving it all of is deffinitely not for EVeRYONE! Think about it the next time you answer a guy: shave your head and get a tan..! It's not always an option!!!

I had been shaving in for the past 6 months but all of a sudden, and I don't want to get you worried, it doesn't happen to anyone but me, on Monday when I shaved it - like usual with a blade - I ended up with all these Zits and razor burns on my head. I don't get it. It really is all over the head; there are a lot of them. It's messed up it's Saturday now and I can still see them.

Just make sure you wet your head like crazy - for like 2 minutes - shave hair when it's at a stumble length - and ideally you have a fogless mirror so you can do it in the shower. Next time I do it, that's what I'm going to do - buy a fogless mirror first and do it in the shower.

Good luck - it's a bad *** look. And it's quite accepted, I work in the corporate world, and quite a few people have one.
