My hair started to fall at fast pace. I'm shedding very thin and bizarre shaped hair (and of course normal hair). The tingling sensation is annoying and i cant focus. I waste time looking myself in the mirror. I dont think its stress.

Hairloss is a mystery. One day we're fine and the next we're doomed :( . I hope it last soon.

Now i'm thinking on those Armani's hair transplant.

come to the Toronto headquarter to do it

I've plenty of donor hair and is very thick. I would rebuild my hairline and raise density in top of my head.

Thats good to know.

Then get it done and stop stressing about it.

Re: IBM story - NW3.7 - Big 3+Oral spironolactone, (PICS Aug)

Today makes 1 year that i use finasteride. I lost my regimen start dates but i think its this:

18/May 2006 - Started minoxidil 5% 1ML/day
18/Aug 2006 - Nizoral 3 times/week
4/Nov 2006 - Finasteride 1.25mg/day
15/Apr 2007 - 50mg/day Oral spironolactone
18/May 2006 - Ecophan multi-vitamins/zync shampoo
~Feb/2007 - AlphaCade Shampoo for psoriasis

Now i'm with Stone Roses hair so its hard to evaluate but its thicker and volumous than when i started. But i'm still a Norwood 3.5. Sometimes, like today, i've some crisis with sticky, oily, rot flaking skin with bulk hair attached shedding. I realized it's chronic and will pursue my life. Today i lost some 10 hairs when a oily flaking skin came out of my scalp :( . But there's worse things.

The date of this photo is something like 25 of September. Sometimes i use a lot of Garnier mousse to tame my hair and comb it. Its also useful to protect against wind.

Thanks for your support. This is by far the best forum and you're all awesome persons.

you must have been thinking too much...
perhaps, you shld relax a bit and start comparing with my pics. lol.
You will feel happier...coz your hair is far thicker than mine.

but its gd that you catch it early IF you're balding

The right phrase is "Your hair is better". And yes i'm a NW3.5 because i'm a diffuser.

Good news. I discovered a store that sells flax seeds and soy beans. I'll make meals (for example soy hamburgers) and eat with green tea in hope to raise estrogen in my body.

well if you insist, there is nothing much I can say. Be it you lose 70% or not, just the best of luck in everything in your treatment.

precisely.

I've read his posts about losing hair like ****. MAN, it turns out his hairloss is not that bad though I can't really see where he is balding...

Re: IBM story - NW3.7 - Big 3+Oral spironolactone, (PICS Aug)

I'm very disappointed with you guys. A guy is suffering from hairloss and you tell me that i've got zero hairloss. You're like most doctors that say: "you dont have nothing... dont worry".

I regret i didnt take any picture when i started the meds because i was really bad. Its true that besides my male pattern baldness i've flaking skin. I'm better with flaking skin problem so its normal that i recovered from flaking skin hairloss.

Or finasteride+oral spironolactone is very sucessfull treatment.

Here's my regimen dates:

18/May 2006 - Started minoxidil 5% 1ML/day
18/Aug 2006 - Nizoral 3 times/week
4/Nov 2006 - Finasteride 1.25mg/day
15/Apr 2007 - 50mg/day Oral spironolactone
18/May 2006 - Ecophan multi-vitamins/zync shampoo
~Feb/2007 - AlphaCade Shampoo for psoriasis

This late images may be deceiving. My hair is longer! So there's no accurate way to measure the effectiveness.

In my youth i didnt had rot and bloody flaking skin problem. I started with 21 (three months after my hair fall due to male pattern baldness). So the androgens must be responsable for that.

exactly, most people will just think you have a little bit hair problem. You are far from being bald.

I'm not a bald man but a balding man. It's not the same the grief is.

from the threads you made, you are more like a crybaby than a balding man.

tons of fellas got a lot worse hair than you do, you don't see them biatch about their lives like its a full time job.

I actually THOUGHT your hair was bad til I checked out this thread. Now you and Taug are pretty much at the same level in my book.
