Is there an ideal time of the day to take propecia?

Yes, whenever you are most likely to remember it, end of story. It does not work better at various times of day.

you can take it with food or without food, avoid oily food at least 2 hours before or after taking the pill.

As long as you take it once a day. Does not matter what time of the day to take propecia.
