If you look at most of the actresses/musicians of today without makeup, you'll find a lot more people in your daily life attracitve, most of these people only look like the way that they do because of professional makeup artists.

Always hated those makeup - no makeup comparison photos of celebs. Usually they take the most horrible pic they can find for the no-make up one and then you have people going to the other extreme claiming those celebs look hideous irl. Recently saw on another forum people being disgusted by Sofia Vergara's photos without make up. And yet she looks exactly what I would expect her to look like without make up and not smiling.

Right? I mean women can sense when guys are looking at them degradingly, which is probably factors into why a lot of these guys can't get dates. Women have that inate sense to know when they are being objectified....unfortunately sometimes they like it though but that's another story.

everyone has a right to judge how physically attractive someone is to THEIR eyes

Not sure what part are you disagreeing with? I never said they don't look worse without makeup. Just that some people seem to have no idea what a woman naturally looks like.

Either way, it doesn't really make me feel any better. It's still perfectly acceptable for them to put tons of make up on their face to enhance their looks and yet we have to hide our hairpieces/transplants/scalp micropigmentation procedures as much as possible. Oh well.

i don't see huge harm in this as long as it's discussed in a reasonably civilized manner. the intent wasn't to mock someone, but to cheer our sad bald asses up by showing that the women that resent us are far from perfect themselves.
it's not like were out there being rude and disrespectful towards someone, no one is getting laughed at in their face.

for what it's worth, im not a huge fan of this ''rate someone's looks, from 1 to 10'' thing either.

aside from instances when male pattern baldness's destructive effect on one's appearence is being discussed. then, being a male pattern baldness sufferer myself, i feel entitled enough.
