If Your Hair Starts Recieding Early, Does It Necessarily Mean That You Will Go Fully Bald?

I'm 18 and I believe my hairline has started to reciede. However, I'm not really bothered about hairloss, more going fully bald. This is what confuses me though, as a lot of people say the earlier your hair starts to reciede, the quicker you will go bald. My dads side of the family has no history of baldness. My dad only has a slightly recieding hairline and he's 56. His father has quite literally lost no hair
My mums side of the family also has no history of full baldness. My grandfather on her side had a hairline comparable to George H W Bush. My mum has also said that he had quite a high hairline for most of his life. Looking at pictures of George H W bush when he was younger also shows that he has a similar hairline to me at about the same age. Does this mean that I wont go fully bald?

I noticed my hairline receding at 22, now I'm 44 and only in the last year has my hair loss "got real". You could recede some and then go a long, long time looking exactly the same.

Some people develop a “mature” hairline and don’t become completely bald. But everyone if you live long enough will have some form of hairloss. A friend of mine used to make fun of my receding hairline in high school and even bought be a can on spray on hair. Now he’s completely bald and while I’ve had hair transplants it was only for a tiny portion of my head. I appear other than no temporal points and temple recession as having a full head of hair.

nobody can say how your hairloss will progress. Best guess is to look at the hair of your family members to get an idea how this journey will go for you.
